Work placements provide opportunities for you to be in everyday places doing everyday things.

We have partnerships with many businesses and organisations in our community including Farmlands, Bunnings, SPCA Op Shop, Habitat for Humanity’s op shop Restore, Rotorua Library, Charleez Chicken, Red Cross and Salvation Army where our members learn valuable work-ready skills and enjoy getting out in the community.

Our Community Connectors will match the right role for you and then will work one-on-one with you to develop the skills, confidence, and natural supports you need to succeed.  They will also work closely with each organisation to ensure they are comfortable with your individual support needs.

Work Together Rotorua is also an initiative of St Chads that connects people who experience barriers to employment with organisations that want to hire great talent. You can find more information about Work Together Rotorua here.
